Commandant Charles Dandoy, of the 3rd companion of the Force Publique, was stationed successively at Kongolo and Kabinda. One can image that at the end of his military career, in 1947, Dandoy offered his services to Congopresse, the press (and propaganda) organ of the colony; in any case, his portfolio of photos ended up in the Inforcongo collection.
