Little is known about the photographer Lammeretz. He is a contemporary of Zagourski and Gabriël. His production was very high. More than a thousand different photocards are known. Each of these cards is numbered on the back with the name of the tribe to which the person belongs. Most of his photos are ethnographic in style and form a sample of the Congolese population.
