Sakalava men in Diégo-Suarez, current Antsiranana. Little is known about the photographer and his studio. Ramahandry was active in the period 1910-1920 and notably photographed the high society of Madagascar. He photographed various tribes like Bara, Betsimisaraka, Vezo, Betsileo, Hovas and Sakalava.
