A group of young Batshioko (Chokwe) boys in the Mukanda enclosure, where they stay during the initiation period, which, in this tribe, follows circumcision. They are dressed in the 'Kamba,' a type of belt about three meters long, adorned with a 30-centimeter fringe made of fiber. This belt is given to them once their wound has healed, and they wear it during dances held in the enclosure and later when they leave to return to their village
